We are part of an influential and transformative network that is of use to help us achieve our goals of making the world a better place.
He adds that he encourages everyone to join and present themselves in these three days to share the interests, passions, and goals of people similar to them and their schools and organizations.

After three successful monthly summits in Pakistan, Egypt and Kenya, GSFN is committed to delivering an exciting community-led transdisciplinary space championed by universities, schools, businesses, and governmental and non-governmental organisations to amplify the voice of local people, initiate and implement projects to address the current crisis and build capacities of citizens, young and old, men and women, academic and non-academic, entrepreneurs and innovators, co-creating low carbon, energy efficient, well-balanced society, leaving no one behind.

GSFN INDUSTRY CO-HOST: C.A.S.T.N.E.T. INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
El-Roi London University, Covenant University, UnityNet International and C.A.S.T.N.E.T. International Chamber of Commerce will join GSFN, creating an intersecting space that focuses on building the capacities of transdisciplinary working groups. Researchers, community project leaders, and businesses/business development partners will join the exciting capacity-building Summit and empower NIGERIA through our GSFN – EL-ROI LONDON UNIVERSITY – COVENANT UNIVERSITY – UNITYNET – C.A.S.T.N.E.T. INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NIGERIA GLOBAL SOUTH HYBRID SUMMIT APR 2024 on 24-25-26 APRIL 2024. It will strategise the concentrated newfound forces from youth, women, and entrepreneur communities through debates, focused roundtable talks, policy analysis, case studies, and research findings on urgent national issues, including addressing radicalization, violent extremism and counterterrorism, poor education quality, poor rate of literacy and school attendance associated with the limitation of individuals’ opportunities for personal growth, and unemployability, addressing issues that inhibit women’s economic empowerment and hinder inclusive, low-carbon and resilient economic growth, and addressing unsustainable agriculture practices contributing to environmental challenges such as land degradation, deforestation and decarbonising greenhouse gas emissions for resilient and sustainable development at local, regional, national, and international levels.
The Summit will invest in local capacity development projects, including networking, collaborations, and year-long programs. These projects will stimulate innovation and technological advancement in Nigeria, encourage more people to cocreate local projects, build capacities to execute them and empower local communities.
The Summit’s activities will extend to community development efforts, spreading education programs for underprivileged areas, uplifting marginalised communities, reducing poverty and improving overall social welfare.
The Summit Series will run from 2024 to 2026. It will involve collaborative projects between various stakeholders, including universities and established organisations, taking the lead in advocacy, awareness, training workshops and skills enhancement programmes coordinated by the interested stakeholders.
Discussion, debates, and networking with international experts will be integral to the Summit. We are calling Keynote Speakers, Speakers, Mentors, Students, Young researchers, Union representatives, University representatives from NIGERIA and outside NIGERIA, Sector representatives, STEM, YOUTH, WOMEN representatives, Research-performing organisation representatives, Research funding body representatives, Public body representatives, and relevant stakeholders to participate in interviews, round table discussions, seminars, providing feedback, one-to-one meeting, or attend.
