Bringing Science, Research, Innovation and Community Engagement at the Global Innovation Hub Pavilion on the first day of COP28 in Dubai
Dr Renuka Thakore was invited to the UN Global Innovation Hub high-level session featuring high-level speakers. It led discussions on how a need-based and solution-oriented approach to climate and sustainability innovation combined with moonshot mindsets and systems thinking can serve many people and the planet, enabling climate and sustainability solution providers to do the right thing and to do it rightly. The panellists deliberately share ideas and experiences that can facilitate the identification, development and upscaled deployment of transformative and ambitious climate and sustainability solutions aligned with the 1.5-degree goal and help deliver the Sustainable Development Goals. These can include a combination of innovative technologies, policies, financial instruments, business models, cooperative approaches, and products from the culture and creative industries.
