BACKGROUND
The Sustainable Design Council and METAGOOD RESEARCH & INDUSTRIES, led by Muhammad Turab Randhawa, with Bilal Farooq is the GSFN HQ for Pakistan and is a global collective that applies “good planet” design thinking for new systems thinking and actions for change systems that are comprehensively aligned to the 17 Global SDGs.
Our Shared Mandates operate under the umbrella of designing and executing sustainable programs, projects, future-ready startups, and actions to evolve sustainable cities and communities in Pakistan.
We aim to design and develop a sustainable advanced return on knowledge and investment quotient (ARK IQ) for Pakistan and accelerate the reduction of the knowledge and capacity gaps that impede the possibility of developing a future-ready and sustainable Pakistan.
Optimizing soil health for the planet is the culture and system needed to sustain the planet’s longevity.
We are seeking your collaboration in the work as the Global South Chair and lead a program with the advisers, mentors, influencers/private sector associations, and organizations that are already working for farmers’/communities’ empowerment to design the sustainability of Global South by applying “good planet” design thinking as the starting point to loop actions and systems for a future-ready Global South through the Communities Carbon Calculator along with your proposed innovations. Our collaborative work will be 100% applicable to valorising nations in Pakistan and the Global South, similarly reducing the knowledge, access, and mobility gaps that separate the Global North and South with unsustainable inequalities. Optimizing soil health for the planet is the culture and system needed to sustain the longevity of the earth, and the planet’s path for soil valorization starts in the global south, where soil health has been significantly overlooked and where the greatest threats to the sustainability of nations in the global south predominate—as a direct result of unsustainable inequalities that have impeded the progress of nations in the global south.
