Global Sustainable Futures Network (GSFN) is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as Global Director for Education and Skills.
This senior role will lead the strategic direction, delivery, and growth of our global education and skills programmes, supporting communities, professionals, and institutions worldwide to build capacity for sustainable futures.
About the Role
The Global Director for Education and Skills will shape GSFN’s learning vision and ensure that our programmes are high-quality, inclusive, and impactful across diverse international contexts. The role combines:

This position is ideal for an experienced education leader who is passionate about equity, access, and the transformative power of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global strategy for education, skills development, and capacity building
- Drive innovation in digital and remote learning
- Oversee programme quality, delivery standards, and impact
- Build strong international partnerships
- Champion accessibility, safeguarding, and inclusion
- Support and lead a global network of project managers, facilitators, and partners
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a leader who brings:
- Senior experience in education, training, or international development
- A strong track record in global and online programme delivery
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A people-centred, inclusive leadership style
- The ability to operate confidently across cultures and time zones
Experience in humanitarian, development, or social impact sectors is highly desirable.
